Why did you leave me when you did
Was it something I said or something I did
Was it a thing that I forgot
Was that the reason for your leaving
All I did was in my beliving in us
All I wanted was your trust in me

Was that to much for us to be through
No it was not what you did
It was feelings that were hidden
Feelings wanting to be free
Freedom of wanting to be me that set you on your way
Never blame yourself only blame the
world around us and that is to much to ask
I cant change the past only learn
I cant make you understand only let you know
Your heart will find a way
Your heart will set you free to see
It was me and not you that made the choice
And for me I have to live with the pain
The pain I have caused , the pain
